Banner, Andrus Model Club, design includes winged club logo in gold-colored paint, pasted images of biplanes and aircraft insignia, and names at the top of the banner (presumably club member names), circa 1930s/1940s. Banner is in three pieces. Names are listed under the pasted words "Honored" and "Aces": Left corner, left column: Walter Staff, C. L. Davis, Charles Olson Left corner, right column: [?] Harwood, Ed Olson Right corner, left column: Fred Adams, Wesley Keller Right corner, right column: Robert Doudle, Melvin Coombs, and George Oqubo The "Aces" lettering appear to be from the covers of Flying Aces magazines from the 1930s or 1940s. The Andrus Model Club was Laurence (Larry) Elma Andrus's club in Salt Lake City, Utah. |
