Airplane, Model - Lanchester Aerodrome Glider

Airplane, model. Replica build of F. W. Lanchester's Twin Pusher, the Aerodrome. Has a long skinny fuselage with a canard just in front of the elliptical wing. Twin propellers on back are powered by a rubber band.

Per the commemorative program book from the 50th Nats (1976), celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Nats, Edward J. Lange won first place in Event Number 6 at the 1923 air races (considered the first Nats), winning the Mulvihill trophy.
