Reproduction of an Douglas SBD Dauntless Identification Model, done in a silhouette style. This is a static model carved from balsa wood using the plans from a Comet Build for Victory kit. It is painted matte black. Similar models were used to train service personnel in how to recognize aircraft during WWII.

Replica of Harold Coovert's 1938 Berryloid Finish winner (Free Flight), built and flown by Stan Lutz. Cabin fuselage with high wing, traditionally built of framed balsa wood and coverd in doped silk. The model blends cream and brown covering for a polished look. This model took 250 man hours to complete. Installed O&R .29 engine.

Model Glider, replica of Sir George Cayley's 1804 model glider. Stick fuselage with large fan-shaped forward wing and triangular tail. Small white stone hangs off the fuselage and can be adjusted to various points along the fuselage. Cayley used a similar model to measure the effects of the center of gravity on flight.
