The Frantic 4, a Class A Control Line Speed model. Made from balsa wood and painted red and white. On a 3-wheel take-off dolly. This model was built and flown by Gerald Linthicum and set a US Record in 1945 for Class A Control Line of 89 MPH. White and red, yellow at very tip of nose, red on rest of nose and leading edge of wing, white on the rest; image of devil on starboard side of broken vertical fin, and on top of port side wing; also on top of port side wing is "US Record Class A, 6(?).89 MPH, 1945," on top of starboard wing is "AMA 1200, 4." Blue stars on horizontal stabilizer. Three wheel carriage included. |
