Kazi Formula One Radio Control Pylon Racer model airplane. Installed rear exhaust nelson formula one engine; 56.5" wingspan. Model was pulled from a mold and is all composite materials. Covered in yellow, red and black. This model was flown by Darrol Cady and won the Formula One event at the 1999 Nats - this was the last year that the event was held. Model is yellow, red, orange, and blue in color. Fuselage has red, blue, and orange stripe across the top, with "Futaba" in blue lettering on the vertical stabilizer, and "EBS - America" on the side of the fuselage in blue lettering. Wings have red, blue, and orange stripe across top. Right wing has "N12C" on it in red lettering. Left wing has "5G Team JR Racing" on it in red and blue lettering. Model also has a wooden prop. Prop has "Darrol Cady DW #6" handwritten on the side in black ink. According to submission documentation: This model was used to win the Nats for Formula One in 1999, the last year that Formula One was ever raced. This model was judged A #1 at the Nats that year. 12/4/2013, On the submission form "rear exhaust nelson formula one engine" is incorrect. It should be "rear exhaust nelson formula one engine" |
